We've all heard about life-saving technological advances in automobiles, such as blind-spot warning systems, forward collision warning systems, and lane-departure systems, but most of us also know that these technologies can be expensive. One usually finds them included as features on luxury vehicles (in the case of Nissan, on its Infiniti models), and they cost a pretty penny either way. Most of these vehicles rely on expensive radar sensors (which double as "smart" cruise-control systems) that are pricey to own. Enter Nissan: the brand that's committed to providing life-saving technologies to all.

In celebration of 20 years of sales for the Nissan Altima, Nissan is offering a special "20^th Anniversary Package" for the vehicle. The Altima has sold over 3.6 million units since its debut in September 1992 and is one of the best-selling vehicles in the brand's history. Al Castignetti, Vice President and General Manager, Nissan Division, Nissan North America Inc explained the exception deal: "We want to acknowledge Altima's first two decades and how much it has meant to the company - and reward loyal Altima customers with this special 20th Anniversary equipment package. "From its uncertain beginnings, Altima has grown to be a real power nameplate for Nissan in the competitive mid-size segment - a position we intend to hold for many more anniversaries to come."¹
