The new 2025 Nissan Frontier is a mid-size pickup that can be outfitted for a variety of different missions. The base S trim is a good worksite machine, while the PRO-4X is set up for hitting the trails. All trims get the same 310-horsepower V-6 engine and a nine-speed automatic. Rear-wheel drive is the standard configuration, but four-wheel drive is an available option. Unlike competitors, the Frontier is available in either Extended- or Crew Cab body styles, and the Crew Cab can be matched with a six-foot bed or a standard five-foot bed. The Frontier S

The Frontier SV
The SV King Cab has infotainment system upgrades that include a 12.3-inch touch screen, a six-speaker audio, four USB ports and wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. This trim also gives Waipahu, HI buyers premium cloth upholstery, an eight-way power-adjustable driver's seat, heated front seats, power-adjustable mirrors and an under-seat rear cubby in Crew Cab models.
The Frontier SL
The SL trim adds a 10-speaker Fender sound system, navigation, remote start, LED headlights, daytime running lights, fog lights, under-rail bed lights, a surround-view camera system and an automatically-dimming rearview mirror. Other SL upgrades for Ewa Beach, HI buyers include authentic leather upholstery, a four-way power-adjustable front passenger seat, a heated and leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated mirrors, a sunroof, a spray-in bed liner, adjustable bed tie-downs, a 120-volt power outlet in the bed and a Class IV tow hitch.
The Frontier PRO-X
The PRO-X is the entry-level off-road trim and is available for Kapolei, HI off-roaders only as a Crew Cab. It comes exclusively with rear-wheel drive, has many of the same features as the SL and adds Bilstein off-road shock absorbers, all-terrain tires and an extra aluminum skid plate up front.
The Frontier PRO-4X
The PRO-4X is the four-wheel-drive version of the PRO-X with further upgrades that include steel skid plates for the transfer case and fuel tank while keeping the other rugged enhancements in the PRO-X.
Performance in the 2025 Nissan Frontier
The new Frontier in our new inventory is powered by a naturally aspirated 3.8-liter V-6 with 310 horsepower and 281 pound-feet of torque. It's teamed up with a nine-speed automatic transmission and either rear- or four-wheel drive. The off-road-oriented PRO-4X model can tackle a variety of rugged terrain surfaces. Nissan's new faster and more direct steering and other chassis upgrades help the 2025 Frontier feel more composed. The PRO-4X trim has a 7.3-second time 60 mph and it can reach the quarter-mile in 15.6 seconds at 90 mph.
