Powering all three trim variants of the Nissan Rogue is a 2.5-liter inline-4 engine that manages 170 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque. The S, SV, and SR trims all come standard with front-wheel drive; however, Honolulu drivers can upgrade any of the three trims to all-wheel drive functionality. The Nissan Rogue features a standard set of suspension features that includes an independent strut front suspension, an independent multi-link rear suspension, and front/rear stabilizer bars.

Tech & Comfort

The base Nissan Rogue S trim comes outfitted with extensive standard features that many other models require upgrades to get. The base S trim comes standard with cloth-clad seats, an EZ FLEX seating system (with second-row split folding/reclining/sliding seat with pass-through), four cup holders, a Divide-N-Hide cargo system, integrated key with remote keyless entry, and rear passenger air conditioning vents. Moving to the tech side of things, the new Nissan Rogue offers Waipahu drivers a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment display, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity, Bluetooth connectivity, a four-speaker audio system, and an advanced drive-assist display. Stepping up to the SV trim allows Schofield Barracks drivers to enjoy dual-zone automatic climate control, Nissan intelligent key with push button ignition, remote engine start, an eight-way power driver's seat (with two-way lumbar support), cloth-trimmed seats, heated front seats, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. Tech features that come with the SV trim include a seven-inch touch screen infotainment display, a six-speaker audio system, and Android Auto/Apple CarPlay connectivity. Honolulu drivers looking to opt for the top of the line SL trim can look forward to the most robust tech and comfort features of the three available trims. The SL trim adds in an auto-dimming inside rearview mirror, HomeLink universal transceiver, leather-clad seats, and a heated steering wheel. Notable changes in the tech realm include Nissan Door to Door navigation and audio, Nissan voice recognition for navigation and audio, a three-year trial of NissanConnect services, and a Bose premium audio system (nine speakers and dual driver woofers).


Safety features available with the Nissan Rogue are quite extensive. Honolulu area drivers can look forward to a mix of driver assistance and traditional safety features.
