The Goodwill Softball Classic

The New City Nissan Goodwill Softball Classic was started in 2006 with the support of ILH Director - Don Botelho, OIA Director - Dwight Toyama and HHSAA Director - Keith Amemiya.  The concept of the Softball Classic was presented to all of the principals and athletic directors of the ILH and OIA schools.  It received unanimous support.

The Softball Classic is a Goodwill tournament that requires representation from every high school on Oahu that submits a nomination form of available Senior players.  The teams are formed by a selection committee comprised of representatives from the ILH, OIA and umpires.  The entire Classic is run by New City Nissan.  Uniforms are provided by Jonathan Oe of TheGluv Athletique.

Including this year, 1014 players have participated in the Softball Classic.
